I have owned a few Broncos over the years, customized and stock. I will own many more but I will never waste my money on this plastic letdown. I was so excited about this new Bronco and I have been saving my pennies but this is nothing like the prototype I fell in love with. If it looks like a cheaper knock-off it usually is. Thanks for the real Broncos of the past and no thank you on these mall crawlers.

When I was 26 in 96 I purchased a Fiero GT. It was the same color as the one in this video but had a sunroof. The sunroof would only pop up in the back about 3 inches. The glass didn't come out or anything and there was no shade to keep you from burning up in summer. Mine was a 5 speed and was fun to drive around and pretty quick since it was light. It could beat most Cameros and Trans Ams of the same era in both 1/4 mile and top speed. The head gasket blew and I sold it to a guy with a wreaked buick with a supercharged 3800 motor he put in the Fiero.

I love this car especially tuned. It literally has no traction when you put down on the gas pedal back tires spin real quick. And you definitely feel that torque and push.

The mk2 focus st 2005 to 2010 (European version) was better, 2.5 5cly 20v Turbo. Just as quick as this one but a much stronger engine that sounds like UR quattro and has endless tuning potential for big BHP

Not as powerful but there are plenty of 6MT GTIs out there so I'm not sure that having a manual as 'standard' is all that much to write home about. That said, the reason I went with a GTI over the ford is just because I happened to find an excellent price on a private used sale. Definitely would have been up for an ST if I'd come across one. I'd like to see a video on the GTI but I guess there isn't that much difference from the R in terms of quality except, arguably, price for performance.

I feel this car was robbed a point in practicality. It was given a 2, just like the Huracan, 488 and 720. However, how many dealerships can service an Audi in Iowa? I looked and you can have a dealer within 2 hours. Iowa has 5 Audi dealers. If you have an R8, in Iowa, you likely live in one of those 5 cities or just outside it. If you car won't start, or breaks down, they will come get it. That sure beats having to get it flat bedded to Chicago if you own a 488.

The cup depressions in the glove compartment lid are the same as seen in most US cars in the 50's to 70's. For drinks at a drive in. There were no cup holders yet for driving and drinking - coffee of course. Head rests first showed up in the US because of federal regs in the late 60's, and were front seat only for years. A mirror only in the passenger side (once they thought of them) visor would also be typical, not something weird at all. In my 2018 car the passenger side has a light and the driver side does not. So this car isn't so ha ha ha hilarious as it is behind the Western times by about a decade or two.

I have a Focus Titanium which is the ST without the turbo pretty much, LOL. I didn't know the ST had a button to shut off traction control, on my Titanium I don't have a button, instead I have to go dig through the computer settings to disable it - pisses me off esp in winter driving when I can't freely enable/disable it.
