I’ve never actually played mass effect the whole way through. I understand the plot and interested in it but the ridiculous combat abs check points in mass effect one turned me off about half way though in a really annoying section. Tried to move on to two but it didn’t feel right. Would be awesome to experience this for the first time

Andromeda was a good game on its own It was my entry to Mass Effect and I enjoyed it. Then I played the original trilogy and ots really nothing compared to that, but its still a good game

This is set between Mass effect 1 and 2 when they all believed Shepard was dead. :) The crash place is the snowy planet where you go in ME2 to visit Normandy's crash site! :) Called it! You even collect that broken helmet with a piece missing from it! :)

You should be able to pilot the Normandy or whatever ship you have in game around the galaxy, but without impacting on the size of the game. That would make mass effect even better.

Opinion: instead of that garbage of Andromeda, they should've set a new game during ME2 events, playing maybe as a space pirate with your own ship and crew, living your own adventures, visiting the Citadel and other iconic places and having the main events of the galaxy just as a background. I genuinely cannot understand why they wanted to embark in building a whole new universe when they already had established factions, enemies, places, the f*****g Citadel.

OH MY GOODNESS! The Mass Effect series FTL jumped me into puberty... but seriously, Mass Effect was the first game that I'd ever played in which I genuinely cared about the outcome, beyond, "If it goes bad I can reload." The game became more, I became invested, the true goal of any video game/ Novel/ Film. The writing was second to none, the investment in character development, the interaction between characters and their environments; made me lament and want more! True consequence, complex deliberation, "What is right? and where does the line between right and wrong begin and end?" I was Shepard, WE WERE SHEPARD! If I could bottle the feelings of playing through the ME storyline, I'd be a rich but persecuted man. Given a criticized although not entirely justified series end (one that I found very appropriate and fitting for a complex decision based game) or feelings left unattended, but because the "product" that I pushed was both equally captivating, and haunting. Degrees of happiness and sorrow, intrigue and fascination, legitimate love and disbelief; were so prevalent throughout this truly epic franchise we became enamored with Mass Effect; we were always going to be left wanting for more. Is this not another mark of a great series? Welcome back our old friend, we can't wait to see what you have instore.

So i Played Mass effect 1 when it first came out but never finished it..i finally played the trilogy and finished them all and im in love with this game man. i hope the new mass effect game is a mix of 2 and 3 cause amazing job fr. now onto Andromeda hope its just as good.

I hope the Maco stays the same. I loved running over Geth tanks and pushing them off cliffs and into lava. But for crying out loud, separate the use/cover/sprint commands. It's infuriating trying to sprint away from a combat area in SP and get destroyed because Shepard keeps taking cover at every location out in the open.

Just beat ME series from 1 to 3. I felt like this game doesn't need this remaster. The game is still kicking. Also, I hope to see the next part of commander Shepard's adventure in fighting with Reapers. Witch tried to indoctrinate him... but the truth is - we will never see it I'll miss u good old Bioware

I'd like to imagine this is years and years after the Reapers are destroyed. Shepard is a much older man, no longer involved in combat. He takes on a leadership role like Hackett or Anderson.

@Spaceman 20 My guy... gifs.. do not fix that ending. Because I was there. I was there for the backlash. And i was there for the "extended ending". It's GIFs. It's literal pictures with glowy bits. And as far as that ending... I Have over 200 hours in the first game and over 400 in the second. All to have the PERFECT save file. I have played the third. Once. Have not touched either of the 3 since then. Andromeda was a joke. And the arrogance at witch both EA and Bioware treated. I even remember this one post "Oh guys, we see your feedback, if you only knew what's coming". And nothing ever came. Either everyone dies and the reapers win. Or everyone dies with different lazors. (Most of the galactic population is in the sol system, no planets can fuel such population - earth is in rubble, and with no Mass Relays, they're stuck) Oh they'll retcon it in 5, of maybe just put the survivors in pods just like Andromeda, or some other bullshit. But the fact remains: over 500 hours were ended with a big turd. I undersdand why, the story was leaked. And when they should have pushed the game back... they didn't. "synthetics and organics can't live together" BTICH I JUST MADE THE GETH DENY YOUR LOVECRAFT ASS AND SIDE WITH THE ORGANICS ARE YOU DAFT?! Hell, the Leviathan DLC adds 1 line to the ending, where Sheppard does say who the reapers are molded after.... and 30 seconds later... Sheppard:"Created by who?" Because the lazy fucks didn't think to implement a trigger to remove that line. So yeah, a remasterd version.. why? for another 500 hours of epic build up to a turd?! Only in HD?!
