This video shows how to easily create different Shibori dye techniques! If you've never heard of it, Shibori is a really fun fabric dye technique from Japan. The fabric is bound, compressed, folded and more to create amazing patterns. Don't be intimidated if you're a beginner - I am too - you'll likely be pleasantly surprised at the results you get! Such a fun DIY for Summer :)

The dye I used: amzn.to/2Lgrkqo (affiliate)
The PVC pole I used was 1" in diameter, although you can try other sizes!
Shibori traditionally uses Indigo pigment as the dye, but it can be a bit tricky to work with. To simplify things, I used regular fabric dye. If you want the Shibori effect but haven’t worked with indigo before, it might be a good idea to do the same :)
