My mom is Liberian so I grew up eating Fufu with Pepper Soup. It’s very close to my culture. I LOVE fufu with palm butter 😋

That's because due to Liberians intermingling with Ghanaians before and after the Liberian war picked up eating the Ghanaian Fufuo/fufu with liquid soups from Ghana.

I want to clarify this fufu situation. Ghanaian fufu is completely different from Nigeria. The ingredients are different. Ghanaian fufu is mixed with different ingredients (cassava, green plantain, potatoes or cocoyam) whilst the Nigerian fufu which Akpu just made of cassava plant that the reason why it's has a white colour and sometimes it hard to swallow. You also notice in this video the Ghanaian fufu is yellow this how you spot the difference. Ghana doesn't share the same border with Nigeria therefore, we don't eat the same food. Ghana, Ivory Coast and Togo share the same ethnic group so our food is much similar to ivory coast and Togo (Akans, Ewe, Ga).

Lord she eating the rice with her hand. And dipping the dry meat in the sauce. Smh. You only eat the stuff you deep the fufu in with your hands. Plantains and dry meat ok cool, but dipping your hands in the rice! And just digging out the meat in the juice with you bare hands 🤦🏾‍♀️. Its sad that people think African food mean “oh I eat it all with my hand and just dip everything in everything” smh🤦🏾‍♀️. This the first one I found I pleasing to watch. But let this be some European or other culture of food and we would approach it and eat it respectfully just to show how “cultured” we are. Smh.

Oooh weee!! It looks good!!! Ghanaian food is deeefinitely the way to go if exploring african food for the 1st time.. They're EXPERTS at making slow simmered, savory stews & sauces.. granted some things are an aquired taste. For future reference all rice dishes are eaten w/utensils while fufu is the only thing eaten with your hands. This was such fun watching Btw...I'm Nigerian🤩💕😆💋

Hi guys you are eating all the food you ordered the wrong way. The foo foo should have been divided into two and saved. The sauce should have been poured in separate bowls and eaten one at a time. Mixing all the food while eating does not really give you the real taste of all the food. If you noticed in your orders, the food are all put in separate containers because that’s how the food should be eaten. You should have order just two different dishes at a time then, go the next day and order another two. But it was a nice try.

You guys are funny, gave you the thumbs up. Just a suggestion, narrate, articulate on the flavors. Give name of food then compare flavors with some something that most are familiar with. This makes it relatable and memorable for ordering. You guys made this fun. Keep up the great FYI I do not have my glasses on I hope all of this is correct LOL
