problem with academy is that there are teams that have washed up vets to try to win academy when in reality your should be to invest in young talent and winning academy should be a byproduct of that.

the olaf argument makes no sense. c9 went 9-0 in the first half of summer despite only getting olaf 3 times, so they were clearly able to win without the champion. they simply tried to develop a new play style and along the way they lost their team identity

I usually don't watch the LCS until playoffs, so I can see what teams the other regions will be up against in Worlds/the team that would go to MSI. Next season will be different for me (as a european fan). Perkz is one of those players that is just to entertaining to watch. NA better prepare for a whole new level of a midlane kingdom. The other midlaners in LCS better take notes and try to keep up. The whole region will be better for it. Go C9! Go Perkz! PS: This is the best chance for NA to get further at worlds and MSI next year. It is sad for me to see Perkz leave G2 but at the same time every fan of his knows that he belongs in the midlane. Also, there is a possibility to see Perkz vs. Caps again. That would be super hype. Can't wait for next season. Level up your region, NA LCS. It would be even more hype to see FOUR regions battle it out at MSI and Worlds next year.

How does Jack end up being hailed as the most prominent owner? Carlos has literally swept players not only in LOL, but CSGO, Valorant, R6Siege, and rocket league. Just secured domination of Europe again by buying FNC star player AGAIN. Sold a player that wanted to leave and was not good enough to replace Caps for one of the biggest Lol Esports contract ever, and managed to secure Rekkles, (who is considered to be better than Perkz, especially after worlds) for probably half the money.

I have also heard that eating an apple before recording can help (for some reason). If those don't work, there are ways to clean it up in post-production of the audio as well

Maybe Rekkles could fill that void but he's the new kid in the block and maybe the others will half heartedly take his opinions cause this isn't "his team" and the G2 guy is as accomplished as Rekkles himself. Whilst Perkz came to C9 with that bag of accomplishments, he's definitely gonna get all the respect from his teammates and they'll gladly take his opinions.

I agree with you when you say FNC could have ran their organization better. (Going back to the end of 2015, when they lost prime Huni and Reignover to NA after having made World's semis, and also losing Caps to G2). But I don't think there was much FNC could have done this off-season. G2 realised that they would not have Perkz for 2021, and had their eyes set on Rekkles as his replacement from the very beginning. G2 saw that Rekkles' contract was about to expire with FNC at the end of this year, G2 then purposely barred any negotiation deals with FNC for Perkz, knowing that if FNC were successful in acquiring Perkz, then Rekkles would never have left FNC to begin with. The ball was completely in G2's court this off-season.

I just hope Cloud9 would take good care of our captain :( He's such a valuable piece to the team and him moving to NA makes me sad but if he's happy then it's totally fine. Our boy will kick all mid laners ass in NA :)
